What we do

We support musical careers. Our approach to public relations is deeply personal and aims at long-term development. We cooperate closely not only with the artist but also with record labels and management. That’s how we create sustainable, empowering profiles and narratives for artists that flourish on stage.

Kathrin Hauser-Schmolck

Kathrin Hauser-Schmolck studied musicology, political sciences and cultural studies in Hildesheim and Berlin. During this time she worked for various institutions as arts and music manager. She went on to become music advisor for the Goethe Institute in Munich, before striking out in 1999 as an independent arts manger, and later as a press agent. Since 2009, Hauser-Schmolck Public Relations for Music has been based in Basel. Alongside long-term PR remits for international soloists, ensembles and festivals, Kathrin Hauser-Schmolck is an active committee member of the new music and architecture biennial, ZeitRäume Basel. Her teaching positions at numerous universities enable young musicians to benefit from her knowledge of positioning and orientation in the world of music and media.
